You mean to tell me you don’t know who Crash Anthem is? Well that’s because they’re new; well sort of. This Minneapolis based group recently changed their name from “Skywynd” to “Crash Anthem”, and in my opinion the name not only fits the band; it gives you an idea of what the CD has to offer. This 40 minute CD took me a combined 3 hours to fully listen to. It’s one of those albums you keep replaying songs just to hear again. The pounding drums are relentless, and the guitar work paired with lead singer Wally Joseph’s unique voice give an Anthematic feel to every one of the songs. The album has a great flow and all the songs compliment each other. The album was produced by Candlebox singer Kevin Martin and was a good fit as compared to their previous albums. The title song “Red Room” gets in your head immediately, and I can’t wait to see the Music Video for it. I’ll be sure to post it up as soon as it’s available. Also we had a great interview with Wally, so make sure to stop back for that.
