Right away, I'm going to take some comment thoughts and sayings that I know people have been thinking or saying and toss them out the window about The Almost.

"Ehh, it's Christian rock." My response: It kicks ass!

"Ehh, it's just the drummer from Underoath trying to be a Dave Grohl wannabe." My Response: He kicks ass!

We done? Good! Did you know Aaron Gillespie – Underoath drummer turned-frontman for The Almost – played almost every instrument for the recording of the album Southern Weather? And the single "Say This Sooner" is getting tons of play everywhere, including MTV?

The boys rock out the entire album, but there are plenty of different sounds throughout the album as well. Take the gospel-like-sounds of "Amazing, Because It Is". Favorites on this album that you will listen to repeatedly are "Say This Sooner", "Drive There Now", the title track "Southern Weather", and "Amazing, Because It Is."

So, if you want to listen to a great CD and listen to an amazing musician who pretty much did every note himself, checkout Southern Weather by The Almost. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!
