WOW. I was speechless. I still kinda am. You ask me "hey dude, how was the Justin Timberlake show last night?" and my answer will be a combination of the following words: awesome, sweet, unbelievable, phenomenal, wicked, amazing. That or I still might be speechless. I had a camera, took 3 pictures, then thought to myself "Who am I kidding? A camera isn't capturing any of this. I need a video camera or something."
BEST PERFORMANCE I HAVE EVER SEEN. BEST MONEY SPENT ON AN EXPENSIVE CONCERT TICKET EVER.
Justin Timberlake started out his 2-hour plus set with the title track of his new album and the name of the tour, "FutureSex/LoveSound". The first part of his set which lasted 50 minutes included an amazing extended version of the hit "My Love" and a heavy crowd participation hit with "Senorita". Timbaland, who was a surprise guest on the tour, joined Justin for some tracks. When it was time for Mr. Timberlake to take a break, Timbaland entertained the crowd with his own 20-minue set. At that point, Justin
came back on stage and started up his second set with "Rock Your Body" (which, by the way, the 20-minutes of Timbaland is not included in the actual 2-hour plus time Justin Timberlake was on stage himself performing). After wrapping up with "SexyBack" with Timbaland accompanied by an AMAZING laser show, the arena went dark and up came a piano from the center of the stage. Justin came back out, had a nice conversation with the crowd, laughed (and made us laugh too!), and wrapped up the night with one final song.
Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, the band (amazing guitarist and drummer in JT's band), the dancers, the stage, the lights all were just unbelievable. Timberlake played guitar and piano amongst other instruments, he interacted with the crowd on every song, and there was just so much more. I would go see Justin Timberlake in concert again in a heartbeat and pay the high ticket price for it. Justin Timberlake…I'm still speechless.
