The Myth is located in Maplewood, Minnesota, which is easily accessible right off of the interstate. The Myth is the Best Venue in the Midwest – zero competition.

SIGHT LINES & SOUND

The Myth has state of the art lights and sound. 37 amps pound out music on club nights. The sightlines are incomparable – there isn't a bad view in the entire house. No other venue I've ever been too keeps you so close to the stage with a clear shot regardless of where you are. 

SECURITY & STAFF

The best security and staff in the nation. Yes, not the Midwest, but the nation. The security is very professional and they do a thorough job at the doors. If a fight breaks out, security diffuses the situation right away and takes out the trash. I have never met a more hospitable staff. From the management, like Derek Bunnell, to the ladies at the front door, like Leesha, to the fantastic bartenders, like Colby, to the rest of the wait staff around – from top to bottom, the best in the nation. They are very friendly and hospitable and make sure you are taken care of and treated exceptionally.

COST OF A DRINK

Full service bar with almost every beer and liquor imaginable. Bars are located in multiple vicinities downstairs and upstairs in the VIP area. A domestic beer will run you $5. And unlike a lot of venues that make mixed drinks that have two drops of alcohol, the bartenders at The Myth really know how to make their drinks!

BATHROOMS

The nicest bathrooms nationwide. Yes, not just in the Midwest, but in the nation. You never tell yourself "Gosh, I'm just gonna hold it cause I don't want to go into the nasty bathrooms" – something I catch myself doing at a lot of other venues. Go #1 or go #2 (yeah! I said #2! This is the ONLY place I recommend actually going #2 if you have to!) without feeling gross or that you might catch some nasty virus.

PARKING

Over 3 acres of free parking. Yes, you read that right, FREE parking. Do I need to say anything else?

OVERALL

Quite simply, the best place in the Midwest. I haven't been to enough places nationwide yet to make a larger conclusion, but out of all the venues I have been to nationwide, it is still the best place. The backstage area for performers is amazing as well. Two separate dressing rooms, both with individual thermostats (so one room could be 80 degrees if you wanted, and the other room could be 60 degrees if you preferred). Each dressing room is equipped with satellite plasma televisions. The back loading dock is at stage level, which allows for the easiest transportation of gear. There are numerous of back stairwells for performers to get in and out of the venue.
